Global Autism mission is to address the lack of resources and extremely limited understanding of autism that plagues many under-served populations, we partner with autism centers established by local individuals. Our community empowerment model supports systemic change by providing family and community education through workshops and hands-on training.
We believe in embracing the talent and resources of the communities we serve by furnishing them with tools that engender self-reliance, sustainable development, and continued innovation. Through this comprehensive, bottom-up approach, it is our vision to build a world in which all individuals affected by autism have access to effective services.
The Autism Society is the leading voice and resource of the entire autism community in education, advocacy, services, research and support. The Autism Society is committed to meaningful participation and self-determination in all aspects of life for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. The Autism Society accomplishes its ongoing mission through close collaboration with a successful network of chapters, members and supporters.
