The WE experience is a conscious movement from ‘I’ to ‘WE’ that embodies a feeling of oneness and connectivity reflected in one’s thoughts and actions. As the experience of WE expands and evolves in our thoughts, visions and behavior, the effect transforms the patterns currently damaging our lives and world. This experience involves a greater awareness and empathy toward the entire human family, all species, organisms and resources that share, enjoy and sustain life on this precious, planet earth.
With this new thought there emerges possibility. Through the experience of genuine connection, creativity is expanded and opportunities are realized. A shared consciousness of WE will create a synergy of awareness and action, a transformative movement for a new effect. WE will influence political will, reshape culture and society and change the story.
Our mission is to help young people from regions of conflict develop the leadership skills necessary to advance reconciliation and coexistence.
Treaties are negotiated by governments; Peace is made by people.
Seeds of Peace is doing what no government can. It is sowing the seeds of peace among the next generation of leaders. It is educating them to develop empathy, respect and confidence. It is equipping them with communication and negotiation skills. It is enabling them to see the human face of their enemies. By empowering them to emerge as tomorrow’s leaders, Seeds of Peace is working to forge the personal relationships so critical to peacemaking and reconciliation.
Our vision is a world where the work and knowledge of local peacebuilders is central to all strategies for managing conflict.
Our mission is to fund local people who are working for peace in their communities.
It makes sense to act before a conflict leads to a full blown humanitarian crisis, and to do that we need to listen to the local people who are there on the ground and can see the warning signs.

The Interfaith Council for Peace and Justice is a non-profit education/social action organization which brings together people of various faiths who believe the world is one family. We believe that love, commitment to future generations, wise stewardship of the environment and promotion of social, political and economic justice are religious responsibilities.
